Design solution: To encapsulate the theme "Out of the Shadows," I crafted an artwork that symbolized nocturnal elements such as owls and eyes peering through trees. I also integrated elements of the Oakland Cemetery, including its gravestones, arch emblem from the foundation's logo, and the daffodils that typically bloom during the event's season. I opted for a minimal color palette that evokes the midnight hour, and I kept the shapes organic and simple to achieve the playful yet spooky style they were aiming for. The staff members were delighted with the exceptional outcome.
